How do I book an experience on Epic Africa?
Browse or search for an experience, choose your date and the number of units, then proceed to a secure checkout. You will receive a confirmation by email once your payment is complete.
Will I receive a confirmation?
Yes. After a successful payment you will receive a confirmation and a secure link by email. If you do not see it, please check your spam folder or reach us via the contact page.
Can I change the dates of my booking?
Date changes depend on the host's policy for that experience. Where changes are allowed, you can request them through your booking; otherwise contact our team for help.
What payment methods are accepted?
Payments are processed securely by Paystack and support major cards and supported local payment methods. You can be charged in your local currency where supported (including Kenyan Shillings) — the available currencies depend on your location and the experience.
Does Epic Africa store my card details?
No. Your card details are entered and processed directly by our payment provider, Paystack. We only keep limited records such as a payment reference, amount, currency and status.
Is my payment secure?
Yes. Payments run through Paystack over encrypted connections, and the platform is protected by additional fraud and abuse safeguards.
How do refunds work?
Refund eligibility depends on the host's cancellation policy and the timing of your request. Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method. See our Terms of Service for details.
How do I cancel a booking?
Open your booking and follow the cancellation steps, or contact our team. The applicable policy and any refund depend on the experience and how far in advance you cancel.
How do I list my business on Epic Africa?
Create a host account and complete our identity verification (KYC). Once verified, you can add your products, set up packages, manage availability and start receiving bookings.
What is the difference between a Package and an Item?
A Package means the product or service is bundled into multiple components for one fixed price. When something is sold individually rather than bundled, it is shown as an Item.
When and how do hosts get paid?
Payouts are made to verified hosts according to your payout details and our payout schedule. Identity verification must be complete before payouts can be released.
How do I create or manage my account?
Sign up with your email to create an account. You can update your details and preferences at any time from your account settings.
I forgot my password. What do I do?
Use the password reset option on the sign-in screen. If you still cannot access your account, reach us via the contact page and we will help you recover it.
How do I contact support?
Visit our contact page for every way to reach us, or browse the Help Center for self-service guides.
Does Epic Africa offer financial support to hosts?
Yes. Beyond listing, we work with partners to channel financial value to our service providers — including grants, growth and working-capital loans, market-access fee waivers, co-marketing, and payment protection. See the Partnership page and the Financial partnerships guide in the Help Center.
How do I apply for a grant or growth loan?
Availability and eligibility vary by programme and partner. To express interest, visit the Partnership page and get in touch through the contact page; our team will guide you through what is currently open.
Does Epic Africa lend money directly?
No. Loans and credit are offered by licensed lending partners, and their terms are set by the lender, not by Epic Africa. We help connect eligible hosts to these programmes.
What are market-access or fee waivers?
These are reduced or waived commissions and listing fees for new, seasonal or underserved hosts, lowering the barrier to reaching a pan-African and global audience.
Who funds these programmes?
Funding comes from our partners — such as banks, fintechs, development finance institutions, tourism boards and sponsors — working together with Epic Africa so that both hosts and the platform benefit.
