Worked example
If your listed experience is successfully purchased for KES 10,000, the standard 18% Epic Africa commission is calculated automatically from that transaction.
The example illustrates the marketplace commission only. Taxes, refunds, chargebacks, payment-related adjustments or other amounts that may apply to a particular transaction are handled separately where applicable.
Why commission pricing?
No standard upfront listing fee lowers the barrier for businesses and initiatives to establish a structured digital sales or action page.
Epic Africa earns its standard platform commission when a customer successfully completes a paid transaction through the platform.
A percentage-based standard fee is easy to forecast, while separately agreed arrangements allow the model to fit different sectors and use cases.
